Mary,
A beautiful picture of the Honey Here collecting nectar from the. White flower, the details of it's eyes, tongue wings & the fine bristles on it's thorax. Beautiful composition framing & lighting with superb camera techniques with sharp focus.

Kind of creepy Mary and almost a sceletal look to the poor cold cricket. The amazing thing is all the details you captured, wow very impressive. Love the techs to create this ET type look to the cricket! Unique and wonderful work!

This photo shows how absolutely beautiful mother nature can be. After a cold harsh winter she blesses you with this sight full of color. You should do hand held shots more often if this is the result.

Good one Mary, looks like a spring shot to me. Like the bright vibrent colors of your little friend, all well composed and framed with a sunny exposure.

i'm the same..can't carry a tripod for long so only use it for night shots or other long exposures. At long last the butterflies are appearing. This one looks like a monarch. Nicely framed..so nice of him to land on the pretty flowers. Lovely colors. Focus and exposure look good. top shot.

Very nice picture of the butterfly, nice colors and focus. I find the background a little too dark though. You could try blurring it for effect

I can see why. It is a nice capture with good color. I would like to see it a little closer so the blue flowers seem to distract the eye from the butterfly.
