Mary,
A Wonderful capture of your handsome young grandson's poking about in an Ant hole...much more interesting than watching baseball or indeed any game one does not play oneself. You have captured the wonder in their faces & absorption only found in small children at play. Beautifully lit taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Thanks Doris, yes the little one with reddish hair will not keep his hat on and 17 months is full of beans, most unusual for him to sit long enough for a photo :)

You have caught the concentration on these innocent faces with good detail and lighting. I used to watch ants (60 years ago) it is so much fun. Good story and framing.
Thanks for sharing
PS also grew up in Glenelg

Thanks Julie - it did bring back memories we not only watched them but poked the holes with sticks causing cave-ins. Will be at the finals next week as the Tigers won and went straight through :) Mary

this is an excellent double portrait Mary just as I like, in a natural position, not smiling at the camera; good lighting with sharp focus,

A wonderful candid shot on these two best buddies having some quality time in the shade. Not really interested in baseball when some ants are much more fun. Good frame, focus and a filtered sun exposure. A cute and fun shot.

Thanks George I appreciate your feedback, 15 minutes later the older one was pushing his little brother over in the dirt so you have to make the best of when they are good together :) Mary
