A fallen Angel perhaps: or just the opposite. A winner, one who fought the good fight and won. Wings tattered, reflecting a struggle and looking to the heavens.

Very lovely painting of this angel. Not a traditional one, but more of a modern take on it. The black background with the white highlights softens it.

What an unusual view of angel. Love the black background with white angel! She stands out perfectly! The depth of field is perfect!
She is a lovely exaggeration of what I would call "exhausted" angel!!

Your proportions are expert as usual. And your colors are blended with no unattractive shades bleeding into another.
Your bg is a staged effect..with darkness and directed light on the subject. I like this. Thanks for sharing.

A great painting of this beautiful looking angel, sitting in a hunched up pose almost as if in the cold, painted with great detail and accuracy and against a dark background with brilliant light colours that represent the angel well. The halo gives off a lovely light aura and the feathers floating down look great, as though she has landed in a hurry. Great details in her physical structure and face and an almost sad or bewildered expression on her face captured very well - great piece, well done.

really this deserves a 7 #1 but im flat broke all i got is 5's. bummer. the body form and language is excellent. the facial expression is excellent. the details is excellent. the shading is excellent. the blend of color is excellent. the depth is excellent. the creation is well balanced and very eye appealing to the viewer. very very creative and awesome work overall(standing clapping and cheering) wooooooooohooooooooooooo
