You are far too kind Brooklyn. I have written 2 children's books, featuring my grandkids. One is published the second I decided was way too much of a hassle from the publisher so i said forget it, however I have had a lot of remarks about a children's book with these characters, if I get my brain functioning again..Which is very difficult for me ,,you can smell the spider webs burning for miles LOL...
I might just attempt a short story again

I was a published short story writer for children. I was lucky enough to have two stories published in U.S.A. today, the newspaper, until they did away with fiction. I also taught fiction writing. If not a short story, why not a calendar? But send it in to another publisher even as a book.

You did great. Both of the animals are beautifully done - also the grass they are sitting on - the only difference I would have made is to chose a blue color as further background representing the sky - the flash green is a contrast to the natural painting of the animals. Beautiful work in details and expression

I had thought of going with blue instead of green, but then looked like the skyline was way too close and seemed to throw it off, so went back to the greens. I appreciate your input and your explanation. Maybe if I had tried a different shade of blue it might have worked better.

You know it is still a great work and certainly a challenge to think what to do - may e a bit more grass up to he heads and than a soft blue would have made it - it is beautiful also like it is and we learn bey doing , so keep up withour talent
