Not only do I like your creation here MW but the way you've titled it as well. Yes, food for thought.
I have the feeling of a vortex looking at your piece...as if I'm being pulled into it although to be honest, as I'm sure you suspected when you titled this, I am not sure if I'm being pulled upwards or downwards....lol...it's a very interesting feeling you've created for the viewer.
I never do fractals or digital painting myself but do enjoy checking them out...especially when they're well done....as is yours.

Moonwillow, you really seem to know what to do to get our imaginations rolling. I have a sense of looking up into the canopy where there is an explosion of the world ending. (goodbye 2017).
The colour palette is autumnal but it is more, it feels apocalyptic and that feeling is enhanced by your title which is, part of the creative process.
Around and around we spin, bursting retinal veins in the back of our eyes, an aneurysm eruption...the end.
