Interesting story. This bug is very well drawn and painted. The leaf shows nicely and the background colours are gorgeous.

I really am enjoying this art.

Thank you for sharing and good luck in the contest.

You made the species sound so interesting. I enjoyed the info and that you researched the topic. Vivid color snake fly perched subtly on the nice greens. The blues are rather nice, greenish yellows in the background ok. Best wishes.

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of that interesting insect and its location. Like the detail n the leaves. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done and good luck!

Cool!
The creature looks a lot like the type we call 'Box Bugs' that swarm the area around here in the Autumn!
It's a nicely-presented and refreshingly unusual picture that I'm enjoying very much!

Lovely digital artwork depicting the Snakefly in natural looking setting. The blending of colors for sky and leaf work well and the snakefly stands out well. Good light and shadow.

Nice randition of this bug!! A great entry for this contest. Great use of colour and the subtle transitions in the background. The bright green leaves against the redish orange of the exoskeleton compliment each other nicely. Great details. Thanks for sharing

I think I know who is behind this piece of art, because it is nobody else on this site doing such great digital paintings. The snakefly looks so realistic, and it is indeed done paying a very good attention to details.

I also like the textured background, the color pallet you have used, and also the way you have used the light.

The format and framing is perfect, and the green leaf with the bug is well placed on the canvas. I think this is a truly lovely and well done digital painting, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Definitely "little But Big". Love your use of colors and the details of our friend and his background are wonderful. So, they don't exist any more? Did you do this from a photo? Thanks for sharing. Good luck in the contest.
