Pat, this is such a dramatic photograph showing the dark rocks in the forground to the water and then up the to the grey clouds in a red sky. A beautiful dramatic show of black, greys and interrupted with red. Gorgeous.

Pat I know I can't add any adjective that more adequately describes the beauty of this piece than has already been said.
Paleoanthropologist speculate that at the time of the Bearing Land Bridge the Cook Inlet was dry - nearly dry. And this was a natural causeway for migration.
I wonder what these first nation people thought of this view?

Pat,
A fantastic sunset picture at the Turnagain Arm of the Cook inlet with the sun's orange after glow glowing through the gaps in the grey clouds over the tops of the snow capped mountains on the far shore of the Inlet then reflected on the glistening surface of the inlet. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.
