This old guy is just looking for attention and I'm sure you give it to him. It's amazing how we get so close to them if anything happens we fall apart. We have a Chihauhau named Lucy, maybe she can take a ride on his back. Coloration, center of interest, focus, story telling well organized.

Not wanting to chase rabbits!! This is an excellent photograph of a GREAT dane. The focus is excellent down to the slobber. The setting is wonderful even though it is not what I would expect for a great dane. Your depth of field is fabulous.

This is an awesome shot for a pet portrait. The focus and clarity is excellent. The wonderful character in this handsome guy's eyes is magnificent. Love the name of photo, the notes and God Bless you, Debbie. You are a remarkable lady with "guts" to face life head on.

Nice story LowRider, my little brother was born a little different as we say, and I'm not offended. I remember my parents battle with the school board too. Special schools and him being lumped in with every kid with a slight flaw. Pretty rough for him. I love this shot BTW, I'm trying to convince the old lady to let me get a dane...but she's leaning towards one of those little rat dogs. I told her we allready have two cats why get another. I'm goping to show her this picture..maybe it'll help convince her. Thanks!

Thank you for makin' me feel a bit better patrick. If I were to ever get another dog, it would ONLY be a Great Dane, they are truly gentle giants, even though they are huge, I never had one knock anything over nor break anything in my home, they are just amazing--my hubby makes a lot more mess than my Danes ever did!! LOL!! Keep talkin' to the wife, she will truly be amazed by these incredible creatures!!

Excellent picture of your majestic dog. I love the look on his face. The daisies in front are nice framing with the blurred background in back. The angle is perfect to capture him, and the composition is just right. Great story!

Great picture of your friend. I like how clearly you captured his face. You can even see the drool dropping from his mouth. My little dog Joey drools everytime I have food. Such an alert look on his face. Dogs are so precious and you did an excellent job capturing his spirit. Truely sorry about your loss.

He's a good looking feller. I just lost 2 English Mastiffs within 2 weeks of each other so I know how you must have felt. Great pet photo also. You did a great job getting down to his level.

Great dog portrait! Even at 12 years old x 7 = 84 human years, hasn't lost the sense of hearing. You can see his hears picking up sound. Impressive! Technically, the photo is a little flat on illumination. In my humble opinion, fill flash or a reflector would have done the trick.

Excellent photo of a Great Dane, beautiful colors, black, browns, white and the red collar around his neck. This gentle giant setting in the flowers is a capture forever. Thank you for your wonderful photo and story.
