It amazes me that people like yourself can create such stunning works of art. I wouldn't know where to start with this kind of creation. It is a great peace of work and good luck in the contest

Looking forward to your explanation but in meantime I will make a guess. This bunch of grapes and foliage looks as though they might be plastic. This would explain waxy look. Did you scan them with a black back ground? Very effective whatever you did.

No, it's a digital painting, painted like traditional, but in my art program, by hand (mouse) :) Was just trying to let everyone know that I didn't use photos or clipart or even photoshop or any type of tradition work. Nothing scanned. I can't "DRAW" worth a hoot, lol. Thanks a million for the wonderful comments and rating. I truly appreciate it :)

This is an interesting composition.. The smooth shapes, the subtle colours of the grapes make it an interesting viewing. Fine composition, soft colours and very good light makes this first rate. Good luck in the contest!

Well done.
The grapes are fine looking and it was thoughtful to add the caterpillar eaten leaf.
I think it will be better if you had applied the rule of thirds..to take the subject off center.
All the best for the contest.
