Nice picture and subject as well. I could wonder who's the subject. Hence the problem for the bird: to many more colored, disturbing flowers. Rating is referring to the technical side and composition.

Yes it does look as if it does not know which flower to go to! Nice big frame filling composition presented here of a very beautiful scene. Your shot is very sharp and very well exposed providing us with lots of great detail and natural looking colours. The birds' wings have just enough blur to suggest movement. Very good photo, well done!

It was your lucky day! This a good action shot of a lovely a humming bird in flight.
Amazing no blur on the wings!
Good composition, focus and exposure. The flowers surrounding add "splashes" of colour. A good entry for the contest. Well done! Good luck in the contest.

Great photo. Lighting, focus, depth of field and composition are all great. I really like the detail within the shot especially on the bird itself. Great job and thank you for sharing.

A very nice capture of this hummingbird frozen in flight. It seem as if he is almost stopped to make a decision. Great focus and wonderful details. You have taken your main subject and surrounded him with some bright splashes of color to round out the image. Well done.

superb capture that should do real well in comp. great initial impact shot with good technique having super backdrop colours & detail but nicely blurry giving good depth & better view of bird-this has to be a + rated pic, i have run out but hopefully many more will have some for this great shot.
