it is a great portrait, especially dignified in b&w. very well conceived and executed shot. your fascination seems to be reflected in his character and expression. he is a wise old beast. when i grow a beard i get white hairs like this showing through. such is life!

He doesn't look too thrilled with the reconstruction!

...Interesting that you chose black and white... but it really highlights the white on his face.

I wish he was a bit more sharply focused.

But, love how the king fills your frame!
