This is such a nice tribute to a young artist, and I especially like the way you did it by using some of her drawings in the composition. I also like the limited color pallet you have used with the red background.

I I have no idea how M Otaku looks like, but the drawing of her is also very nice.

It is only you who could come up with an idea like this, and I am sure the young artist is thrilled. Well done Mark.

I had to go look this artist up after reading your notes and your right she is good. I love her creativity. and you as always are fantastic. I actually talked my granddaughter into beginning to use sharpies after I showed her some of your work. she had no idea drawings like this were possible. she is now trying her hand at it and is pretty good. thanks for sharing and introducing me to another new artist

What a wonderful tribute to the young artists on this site! M_Otaku in particularly! I have been admiring her artwork since I joined FAR almost a month ago. What a great tribute to this rising star;I have reviewed some of her works,she is so very talented and has a great future ahead of her. I love that you have included a collage of her works,esp her"Bird Eating Comfrey",one of my favorites. Very nice! :)

I like this idea that you have of celebrating FAR artists. I like the bright red background and the artist holding up one of her artworks and the 2 other of her artworks are behind her. I is well deserving of a 6, but I don't have any right now. I love the whole artwork.

one thing in this world that is total true is this statement.."you are what you are on your last post". some folks view me as a cartoonist drawing nothing but flowers or animal or insects with humor. some know me as an illustrator doing videos drawing story telling and also working with writers or musicians..a few remember my gallery work and make statements that they cant believe it was done with sharpie and bic pens. when i meet a stranger outside the computer and say i do drawings they ask me what do i draw? i smile at them and say "everything". i betcha they think im full of it till i show them those 19 music videos so far and i had this one woman said that i need to get recognized..i laughed and said i am already recognized i just dont get paid enough to make it a living..the art world is as bad as the movie industry. you gotta get that right person with the backroll to get that lucky break..only thing is we get paid way cheaper than those movie stars.lol..you put my name in under google, explorer, etc you can find many pages of my work... i have over 1000 drawings in my portfolio here at FAR but no ones gonna really look at everyone..they would get bored..zzzzzzzzzz..i started these tributes years ago and stopped to go after other projects..this year is gonna be different..i will be doing these tributes (at least one a month) to add onto the book. i think this year will the 1st year in a long while that im not cranking out beau ceau drawings like i used to. i may not make it big like i always dreamed and im not getting any younger but least i can help spread some of that motivation i always had to some of my fellow FAR brothers and sisters. im glad that you have been entertained and do let these folks that i tribute know how much you appreciate their work. it will give them that extra nudge to let them know they are not wasting their time. who knows one day they will be famous and you can say "i remember when.....". thanks for the great review
