I don't know if I have already told you but orange is my favorite color and the contrasting blue really sets it off. I can also say that I would have known you liked working with Chinese symbols without your note telling me just that. It really shows through your art.

Don't know anything about Chinese symbols, but they certainly look like nut shaped borders. If you want a suggestion of colour, mine is Kelly green, as it would clash a bit, but also add depth. Best wishes anyway.

Very nice. I have seen these colorsused in a few antique pieces of Old chinese silk. The best thing to do is take this with you to the framers and try several styles next to it.

Deep maroonish red coloured frame will go very well with the painting as well as highlight the painting.
The blending of orange and yellow is very proffessional.
I can't comment untill i know exactly what this painting is about. What do the Chinese symbols mean?
Of course, i could interpret it in my own way, but i wouldn't like to tire you with my spiritualistic and abstract interpretations, like i did with your 'Fire and Water'.
Best Wishes

I like the colors, have you thought of using a black frame with orange symbols on it?? The swirls are an interesting touch. What do the symbols say?? It kind of seams like there should be something in the middle, don't get me wrong, it's beautiful, it just feels like something is missing.

Very interesting piece. What is it made from? I might go for a dark grey blue frame to go with the symbols. But a dakr redish brown to go with the darker area of the backround could have an interesting effect too.
