You have such an amazing talent, Linda! I'm, again, in awe with your ability to sculpt the beauty of fine art to look so real with beauty of light, form, featuring and emotive draw. Love the added textural overlay that adds a stony effect to set tone and mood as well as your shading technique. The frog adds extra charm. Great detailing throughout and framing of your subjects.

    Hey Wolfie,
Your fantastic review and your six star rating are so welcomed, and appreciated. There are so many things that we, as artists, and tempermental ones at that, do to achieve the effects that we arrive at. This stony one was chanced upon by mere accident. A temper tantrum caused me to tear this picture in half, crumple it up, and throw it into the trash. In the morning, I felt horrible that I should give up on it, so I fished it out of the trash, ironed it and taped it back together. Truth be known, the stony look was not my idea. It just happened. Thank you again, and again, for your wonderful review.
    God Bless you,
    Linda

Very nicely drawing, a great tribute to Halloween and the fun that day brings forth in our lives! The frog sees the beauty in her eyes, but she has it under her spell. This piece hasn't the same spirituality as your other drawings, but it certainly is skillful and showcases your talent to draw such emotion in her eyes and overall expressiveness. I get a sense of the witch seemingly projected from out of the darkness of what appears like a stone structure, giving the viewer the thoughts of witches and spells and such Halloween attributes! I like the hair appearing to flow and reflect momentary motion. The eyes tell the story, such emotion, one could pass this piece as a black and white photograph. You have a gift for drawing, and I like the etched in stone appeal in this piece. Thanks for sharing, take care and god bless!

    Dear Ron,
You have given an in-depth review, and I appreciate the time and effort you took to look at all of the details and to share your interpretation with me. I wanted to do something different in the approach to the Halloween theme. It is meant to be a participant in the Fan Art Halloween contest. I didn't want to do the same Witch, broom, goblin, ghost type picture, so I came up with this idea. It needs some work, but I wanted to get it into the contest on time. The stone appearance happened when I got frustrated with the drawing, tore it in two, and crumpled it up, throwing it into the trash. But in the morning, I had second thoughts, and ironed the paper, taping it back together. I'm embarrased that I would do such a thing, but those are the facts. Onward and upward in the art experience. God bless you,

This is an amazing drawing the way you have done it. The pencil work in this is excellent. The detail, depth you have created, things you have put in this, and textural effects are all excellent. A very creative and interesting work of art.

Thank you, Anne, for even reviewing this work. I am not happy with it. There is something that doesn't sit well with me. I truly hope that you see what I am trying to convey in it. I don't usually do the gothic image, but this was for the Halloween contest. There are so many things I want to say with my art. But mostly, I want to proclaim the beauty of God, which I know, Halloween doesn't. Art is art. Thank you so much.
    Very truly yours,

This is a haunting work which goes beyond the surface art. Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder, and Mr. Frog sees beyond her warts to the inner beauty. Your work has captured this concept expertly. Very well done and I really like the texture.

    Dear Fellow Artist,
Let us go beyond this Web site, to discuss the true meaning of art. We do what we do, because we have an inner compulsion to do it. I know that I draw to bring attention to the beauty of God. But this drawing was done in a selfish attempt to win the Halloween art contest. Your review was a very pleasent bonus. Thank you for your fantastic review.

This is really excellant! I save my six stars for drawings because I feel it takes so much more talent to draw something without the help from any computer program. The is really life like done very well. Love the wrinkled paper look.

    Dearest Suz,
If I haven't thanked you already for your review, and for your six star rating, allow me to do so at this moment. I worked hard on this drawing, but I am not happy with it. Oh. Gorgi. What I could tell you about this work. Suffice it to say, I worked very hard, and I am not happy with it. It doesn't come for my spirit. Thank you for your very generous and kind review.

I think it is a shame that we keep the myth about beautiful women is able to cast spells to other, alive. So much pain it must have been to their families then, when they burned on fire.

I see a beautiful women with much self-confidense.

I love that you have made it black and white. You are very skilled with your pencil.

Very beautiful and well done drawing. Your theme is interesting, but the quality of your work is excellent. There is so much feeling flowing from her expression and the texture appears as though drawn on stone. A very enjoyable view. Thanks.

    Snopaw,
You are something else. Just the fact that you took time to review my work, is something that goes beyond a thank you. I would thank you in a thousand ways, if I had the know how and the words. But, Alas, you find in this artist the inability to find words. Thank you for your most kind review.
