artfroggy, this provokes a huge grin for me. It is delightful, with that cute little mouse, reminiscent of the one from The Green Mile, hiding among those wonderfully rendered leaves. The detail here is spectacular and the colours as well. It also impresses me that many of the leaves are not only faded, but are torn and shriveled. Very realistic. I admire this painting a great deal. Congratulations.
Peace, Papa

thank you papa it is encouraging to have lovely feedback like this. I actually don't like this one that much as it was done a few years ago now I have moved on from it!!!!

Art Froggy, how very clever, and colourful too. Do I detect the nose of yet another mouse sticking out from the hole in a leaf two leaves above your "mouse in hiding"? This is a wonderful display that I would be proud to hang on a wall in my house. Very well done.

artfroggy, now this is art. I am not sure why this would get a four, it deserves 10 stars. Do you sell many paintings? You are very talented. Good luck.

This is beautiful artwork, artfroggy. You would make a great illustrator for the children's genre. I love the varied hues found within your leaves, especially the span of blue to green tones. The little mouse so indiscreetly part of the scene adds character and charm. Lovely curves, shape and patterns of images to draw the interests.

I was looking at your portfolio. I love the colors you use in all of your work. Very well done piece of work here. It almost looks like a watercolor. Very good!

LOVE THE LEAVES AND THE COLORS, THE COMPOSITION. HOWEVER THE MOUSE IS A BIT OF A LET DOWN TO SUCH A GREAT CONCEPT. HE NEEDS A MORE INTERESTING POSE, THIS ONE IS A BIT CHILD LIKE IN ITS VIEW( MEANING ITS SIDE ON POSTURE)

AHHHH wonderful painting!!!
vivid color, wonderful balance, mystery, and the story...is clear. I rate this highly, as it deserves much credit.
Variety of motion, and direction keep the eyes moving to the central focus, and the contrast of color, is great!! I would be proud to have this picture, hanging in my most visible place at home; for all to see.
The quality of work is wonderful, and no misdirections of stroke.
The translucency is intact.

Best of luck to you. You have what it takes, to go a long way in the art world.

Very nice artwork. Beautiful choice of colors! The leaves are extremely well done and the mouse is cute. This could be found in a children's book. The only factor I would change would be the angle of the mouse in the leaves, to appear a little more believable.
