Must say its chilling. Just wondering would you need ISO400 at such a bright background. I am learning too may be you can help me.

Actually it was pretty low light due to clouds and snowing and I have found ISO 400 to be the generic of lighting conditions. Thank you very much for this great review and I appreciate your time!

At first I thought that this did not have enough tonal contrast and interesting color variation but on second thoughts I appreciate the bleakness and subtle winter colors. You captured a rare picture that is underplaying all the usual visual criteria and precisely because of that it is beautiful.

Just a tad blurred but not enough to ruin anything if it was printed 8x10 on glossy. I like the capture and the naturalness of the scene. It wasn;t taken in a pen. Lived the snow on the branches behind.

At las I get time to sit down and comment on your photo. So glad you found some thing to photograph. Told you that there is always some thing some where and look what walks into your yard. Great view you have from your porch too. A very good photo if you take the shooting conditions in to account. Perfect composition. Have a great day. Best wishes. Marie

Too funny!! I knew I was missing something on the pic!! Thank you for the grand improvements!! I normally don't bother these guys but was cooking in the kitchen on Wed. and this Ms. Sweet Thing just kept hanging around out front, I thought about you telling me to find something to shoot so I shot this with your words in mind---my squeaky door got her to perk up---they used to my squeaking door now and don't run away---that way I can sit on my front porch and just enjoy them. Thank you Marie for this super review, I appreciate you and your time very much!!

Yes, this is beautiful. Great composition and placement of the animal and shadows. I like the muted colors and the way it all blends and seems to make the animal part of his surroundings. It is beautiful and a great photograph. Jewel

How cool to have this little lady right off the front porch. This is a great capture. Clear and colorful with the snow moving through the scene. Well done.

Just wonderful!

It reminds me about my time in Norway. I miss the wildlife.

Here in Denmark we only have wild animals in caves. Just too many bad people here or too many cars, I don't know which!
Thanks for sharing!
