Aren't you just lucky to live so near the nature - how wonderful to wake up in the morning and see something like this from the porch. Hmm.. not so much in the Spring though - when you see them eating up all your Crocuses LOL - About your photo - sharp and clear - the position of the animal not exactly in the middle was a great idea - adds more interest to the photo - well done and thanks for sharing with me..

They are great scenery but I wish they would quit committing suicide on the front of my car. Very good photo. The framing good. The blowing snow adds a nice touch. She looks like she's looking right at you, almost posing for the camera. Very good.

You are very lucky to live in such a beautiful, wild place! I really like the way that you composed this photo, and it has excellent depth of field. The new snow has an appealing texture and the subject is fantastic! Jean in Germany

I have decided to only view my favorite photos this evening. As I am skimming through I am stopping at only my faves. This is my first stop. There is a bit of a blur on the head but this is a great capture!

Like the composition, the yellow golden leaves, foliage peeking through the snowflakes is really nice, very impressionistic, where colors and light make the image. The deer is very well shot as well, she also seems to be distorted by the snow that is falling, and I guess the white flakes against the tans of her hide are a very dramatic difference and is a very eye appealing potion of the photo.

This is a nice photo. You captured the deer very nicely. The background also looks nice. The deer looks a little dark though. It's not like you can ask them to go to a better spot for a picture though.

What a great sight to see from your front porch. This feels, to me, like pure nature photography and very simple but beautiful in it's simplicity. He looks wild and free and that dusting of snow on his back is such a great touch and confirms his wildness and his totally outdoors life. Lovely capture with great atmosphere and I really like this shot. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, I am so fortunate to have these guys come visit me often. I don't normally bother them taking photos because I don't want to scare them off but since I have been here for so long I feel they are totally used to me. So, hoping not to frighten her I took the photo and she just kept hanging around, probably trying to figure out what the crazy human was up too. Thank you very much for this super review and your time is so appreciated Alex!

Hi,
It looks like the snow is falling hard & fast. Beautiful photo of nature & animal. The tree branches lead our eyes into the pic. 1/3 Rule works great.
Take care, Bonnie
