Wow!!!! It is like being there. Your depth of field on a picture like that is outstanding. Did you use a Macro, or a longer lens and zoom in, and what kinda camera do you use. You are just GOOD!!!!! Thanks for the chance to view this rose

Thanks for the great review ampy.
This is the standard macro lens that is on my camera. I use an Hewlett Packard 850 Digital Camera. I've had it for a year and swear by it. It's the best camera I've ever had.

The DOF is very good in this. I think a little sharper focus might have brought out some of the finer details more, as the veins in the petals.

Very nice close-up shot of that rose. The red is very vivid, almost too vivid in comparison to the surrounding green stems. Color enhancement may help that a little bit, but overall, this image is nicely composed, nicely framed, in focus, color and contrast both look good. Nice job.
