Thanks kraz, but when it comes to painting....I haven't done it in years and I personally don't think I have the ability to do this rose justice.

lovely velvety texture and great colour tones, but I wish that there was more of the flower in sharp focus. you could tweak it on photoshop maybe. but a lovely image nonetheless.

    Thanks : )
Might try to tweak it and see how it turns out.

Great capture, thought the background could be darkened to emphasize the flower more. If using photoshop you might try a burning brush with an opacity of 50%
Other than that. Well done.

Thanks for your comments... I don't think my version of photoshop has a burning brush though.

    Thank you very much!!
I use a Hewlett Packard 850 Digital Camera 4.3 mp with an 8X optical zoom 7 x digital zoom. The best I've ever owned. HP just replaced the 850 with the 945...some more bells and whistles added like 5.1 mps etc.

I love this picture so much! I like how the background is dull and blurry, it makes the rose seem even more beautiful than it is. I love the vibrant colors of the rose. When I look at this I think of beauy, love, peace, and God (because He created the rose). Great job.

I like the way the rose is in focus while the stem in the bachground is slightly out of focus. i think this might have been a little better not so close up. that would be my personal taste. other than that it is a great shot

This is good, do you plant flowers alot. If so u should take some more photos of your backyard. Roses are one of my favorite plants and they should be most peoples, after all the reviews today, your probably got the most sensitive piece

I have planted tons of flowers and I do take tons of photos. Only problem is I have to move out of my house at the end of the month, I've been working to propagate my rose bushes and hopefully they will survive the move. Thanks for the review : )

Dear PhotoMama, thank you for a nice flower card! Really I do like this detailed photo. One thing only me disturbs is background- I'd like better to leave it without waste details. It's my opinion only. In generous the picture is well done!

The rose bushes was here when I moved in, but in pretty bad shape. In the past 2 1/2 year I babied all the rose bushes and they have all become magnificent.
    Thanks for the review
