The scene in Titanic, where Leonard DiCaprio's character yells out to the sea that he is "King of the World," comes to mind when I saw this piece. I love the view. Thank you for sharing.

This is an interesting piece in that it's angle of lines of structure makes the piece look like this is a stairway that leads down into the depths of the ocean. What an interesting concept. The shimmer of light you captured on the moving waters is beautiful...the most striking is the horizon that's line blends from hues of the sea, into the light, into the sky. Beautiful voyage you must have experienced.

This picture would be bad ass if the
sun were setting. As is, it's beautiful
and it makes me want to go out on a
big boat. Just a little bit to much water
for me. I have to be able to see a bit
of land. hehe.
I can't swim in this much water, can't
see the bottom. LOL

THis is a nice shot with lots of detail in the water. I think it just needs something out there in the distance to draw your eye out to the horizon like a boat cloud or island. Keep up the good work.

What a beauty you have managed to capture! Nature at its best!
The scintillating sea with specks of dazzling golds is such a treat.
The light weak bluish sky offers a striking contrast to the warm wool like blue of the sea.
How i long to be on that ship!
The entire scene captures and breathes innocence and a mystic charm as well as a soothing pacifying effect.

Great comment, glad you enjoyed the photo, look for more photos from me soon! Oh, and Tangier Island is a small island off the coast of Virginia with a population of about 200. During a recent hurricane the whole island was flooded due to storms and the land's mere 4 foot altitude. For more on tours and cruises to this small yet busling harbor town visit:
