The top of this piece bothers me in
terms of its concept - I think it is
too much for the simplicity of
what you are trying to achieve
and very distracting - I think this
picture would be much better
without it - I really can't comment
on the other portion because I
think it would be fine without the top

I like this! The jewel tones for a background
just liven up this piece. The cardinal itself has
the classic face of that bird famiy. But, the branch
it is gruvin on is so well done, in detail and contrast!
The overall piece just sings!!!

This piece is precious, it captures great detail in the cardinal almost as if he was out my window, the background colors are great and complement the cardinal and the foreground detail is nice and subtle not to distract the viewers eye, well done.

Absolutely love the colours in this picture. Its like looking at something rushing towards you because it is so vibrant. The only thing I am not sure about is the branch it is sitting on.....it somehow detracts fromt he rest of the background which is just fabulous.

this one is so beautiful. i love the rich saturated red on the cardinal. the background is also very interesting because you can just see glimmers of the flowers and what else is going on in the background.
