Excellent color and usage of the posititve and negative shape. I remember when I was younger I fell in love with the thistles so much, I went out to the pasture and replanted them in my yard. I was very young...sixteen....and was simply appreciating things at face value!!

I like this flower. Thistle or not it is very nice. I like the lighting and the focus. The directon of the thistle just looks like it was staring you in the face. Waiting for you to take its picture.

Great macro shot Lowrider. This reminds me of one of By Silents creations. I like how you filled up the whole frame with the thistle and left nothing in the background to distract from it..
