Beautiful setting,by using photo shop or other enhancement software this picture could take on a whole new life, also the focus could be a bit sharper . Other than that I like the shot.

Thanks a lot for your comment. I don't know how to use any software to edit the photo. All i did was downloaded the IrfanView, the resize it and post it.

Where is Boneo?

This, I love this! From the ripples and reflection in the water to the subtle and understated colors. You have one beautiful picture here. This would also make a fabulous painting.

I'm sory, i spell it wrongly. It's Borneo Island. I took the picture is Sabah, Malaysia.

I can smell and feel the calm that the river emits.
The shadowy rippling blue water with all the shadows is so serene and has such a tranquilising effect.
The blue skies and the white clouds are brilliantly vibrant and bring great cheer.
I thought the shadows somehow misplaced. They take away much of the attention off the river.
The two trees are attractive.
You could have focussed better.
On the whole, great job!

I think the clouds against that beautiful blue sky and the movement of the dark waters is the most striking aspect of this picture, drawing in a very rich quality. This was a nice shot you captured to bring us to another place and time, leaving the ambiance of a mid-afternoon excursion.

Thanks a lot for your comment. I like the dark waters very much too.

The camera was a little out of focus, but the river looks beautiful. None of the rivers up here in Alaska are that calm. I love the ripples in the water. Where is that river at anyways??

First of all, thanks a lot for your comment. I took the picture in Kinabatagan area. Kinabatagan is a 560 km river situated on the Malaysia island of Borneo. The river is not exactly the Kinabatagan river.

What a beautiful scene, and love the ripples on the water so clearly demonstrated. As an Aussie, the trees to the left are different to what I know and have no idea what they are. Please tell me. Best wishes.

First of all, thanks for your comment. I'm sorry i don't the tree's name either. But it is very common in tropical forest.

Beautiful blues. A perfectly balanced picture. It all works well together. Would love to see this larger. The slant of the two trees in the background lend just the right tweak to this shot to make it striking.

This is a beautiful picture. I can see myself
rowing down this river in a canoe. The water
is very inviting. Maybe a summer dip or swing
for a rope hanging in a tree. Post more awsome
pictures like this. Maybe someday we can visit
the real one.

Thanks for sharing

Thanks a lot for your comment. Believe me you wouldn't want to get into the water. I was told that the area is full of crocodiles. In fact i saw one little crocodile just one hour after i told that picture.

This is a very nicely composed shot. It just seems fuzzy or out of focus. It looks like a wonderful place to visit. Keep upo the nice pictures.

This is a nice looking picture. But it lacks any singe definitive subject. It would be nice if you could lighten it up some.
I do like the two trees to the right of center, and this looks like a beautiful place for some r & r.

Thanks a lot for your comment. I wanted to make the river look very claim and mystery.
