Interesting shoot of a cat - not the usual "cute" stuff but a reflective portrait that suggests a level of thought not associated with our furry friends. The eyes focal point is very good and the slight cock of the head. All would suggest a bit of mayhem for the immediate future. Looks lie a tough cat.

So true---not the usual "cute" stuff---don't think she was much in a cute feeling mood! LOL! Thank you so much Jamie for this great review, I appreciate you and your time!

NicNac looks like he or she is about to unload on something which is very in trouble. Those eyes tell the whole story and you better be watching out for what ever the next move might be. Excellent shot my friend Bingo!

I am so freakin anal with my composition and my addiction to triangles. I am so impressed to see a pet image posted with such thoughtful process. The detail and depth are excellent. A pet pic doesn't have to be just a pet pic, and can really be a portrait with artistic merit. This is a great capture, honestly the only way I would get a hand held this perfect would probably be with a little black bear too. Awesome photo Low.

What an intense expression on NicNac's face. I think if I was the Great Dane, I would start to worry. This is a wonderful close up with good clarity and lighting.

Love your closeup of your cat, doesn't look like a great dane pup though. LOL You really did get a very nice close up and it is crystal clear. Feels like you can reach out and touch the hair. Good job.

I like the close crop of the picture. I feel you probably got the most out of the picture with that crop. I like the soulful eyes of the cat. However, I don't see "aimin' to maim...Great Dane pup..." Looks perfectly innocent to me.

Not cropped, framed through viewfinder---and yes, I witnessed the 'Aim to Maim'. Thank you for your review and I appreciate your time.

Beautiful expressive shot. Excellent detail especially in the eyes. Fine composition/crop, I really like how the head is slightly tilted. Well done. RB

You have done an incredible job with this image for a across the room shot! Your focus and the light and the angle has worked well for this. Great presentation here. I love you technique how you have zoomed in for the eye shot here. Great job.
