I love sunflowers.
This picture is excellent. I
have several sunflower
pictures in the works and
one that was a group
of flowers including
sunflowers that was at
a gallery.

GOOD work - like the positioning of the flower

what a wonderful moment to capture, a butterfly so relaxed without a care in the world, dont you just wish well... this is a very nice shot, your foreground has a slight distraction and the contrast could be adjusted to make the yellow in the sunflower a little more brilliant but other than that, this is a good image. well done

What a beautiful nature shot. I love the yellow sunflower against the bright, blue background. And capturing the butterfly on it is great. LIke the blurry flower in the forground also, to give the dimension to the photo.

Ah this is a very good shot, but that blurred flower just soiled it for you. Try to always check you frame before you take a picture. The world is so full of special momnts and visions, that you need perfect clarity, light, angle and frame to pull of remarkable photos. That butterfly is so pretty:) Nice job on catching him.

a sweetness of life and beauty. wonderful shot, and timing. I wish the butterfly were a little more visible for color, and translusence. a hard one to capture with their movement, though.
a nice picture, well balanced and thoughtful presentation

beautiful shot, to bad there was not a little more contrast between the butterfly and the sunflower center there. and the other flower should have been held out of the way, because even being blurred it is still, quite distracting. Or maybe try to leave it un blurred. :)

I love the bright color of the sunflower against the vivid blue sky. The composition is busy, maybe cutting out the flower on the left would do the main subject more justice. great photo

I really like this shot, cowgirlstorm. It's a nicely framed piece because of the soft capture of subject and the magnificent, striking blue that frames and brings the sharpness needed to lend detail to each sunflower petal that embraces this flutter. The right framing of the pieced, blurred other flower adds depth and dimension, drawing our eye further into the the folds of the main subject. The butterfly not being entirely sharp in precision of its markings, establishes the flower as the main focal point, showing off not only the rich blends of color found in the yellow and blue but also the butterfly's coloring and adaptive markings that camoflauge it in, as if it's part of the flower's center. Perception, and how one sees a shot can mean everything to its affecting draw. I can readily see this matted and framed to enrichin it even more as a subject that would bring to any wall the beauty you had in mind when capturing this shot.

There was an exquisite ad the other day I happened upon for a major commercialized product...it was lovely in all its imperfect charm....the flower was not sharply focused, but had soft framing for affect and mood, it also was not entirely captured in the shot as a whole, yet clipped to entice with the particular floral petals and accents that brought home its suggestive appeal. It was phenomenal.

I think your photo has such equivalent charm that draws, at least this viewer to experience the loveliness that designates the appeal as professionally rendered with unique vision.
