Nice work.
This is a clean sharp and well composed photograph ( as always)
I like the way you framed this shot using the tree.
Only thing stopping it getting the full 5 star is the inclusion of the fence post.
It is a little unbalanceing to the shot.
Other than that, nice work

I really appreciate your input Mark! Yep, I was confused about the fence post, I was just 'on the fence' about whether it added to the shot or detracted and your professional opinion certainly helps. Thank you so much!!!

A nice shot Low, I like the angle you took this shot from. Just enough of the fence post to create some interest. Nice job!!!!

Low, love the story, not so in love with the picture. In fairness, probably because it reminds me of the dismal conditions I lived in as a child sometimes. Just now and then, the emotional over rules the practical, so you can promptly ignore this critique.

Thank you Scott!! I certainly understand what you mean! However, I do many photos of similar, just to kinda warn ya! It is very interesting how a photo can trigger emotions, I hope to bring you many more happy pics than unhappy.

Thank you very much gold!!! Yep, I believe we have connections to every thing we shoot that make us love it when some may hate it. That is the one thing I love about viewing photographs is the mass variety of emotions.

The old place has charm, but not as much charm as your wonderful story...I bet your granddaddy loves the doo rag because it rests on your head...keep finding these shots and sharing your talents with the rest of us!

Theo, you just so sweet! Your review makes me feel so good! No, not Granddad's home but like so many he built and I was always a part of.
Comment from sassy

Hey Low is this Granddad's house? I love the story you were so gracious enough to share, It reminds me of my own ( he was almost the same, but Italian and work in his greenhouses from sun up to sun down) back to the photo. Nice and sharp, well framed, good lighting, great angle and rustic too. It really does take you back, no matter where you are from. The houses they build today cannot touch the hidden characteristics of this sweet little gem. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Sas, thank you, you are very sweet! No, not Granddad's house, but so similar to those he built that I was a part of.

Really nice photo. I love the angle and the colors. It looks like you could just feel history there. Looks like a winter day. I love the story you have with it. Great job!
