The only reason I mixed the clown and fishw was to make a play on the words Clown & Fish (Clownfish), for my little girl.

Thanks! My daughter likes Nemo the clown fish, but all I had was a ceramic clown face picture and a fish picture, putting both in one image allowed me to use the two subjects names Clown Fish as an inside joke.

Curious where you saw the similar one, I personally haven't, and likely wouldn't have tried to emulate another work. I wouldn't mind seeing the other one just out of curiosity to see what sort of techniques were used :)
