Hey do you know if there is any way to post more than 2 pictures in one day cause I was wanting to put a lot more on here than I did

Yes, I found out it on the other day. I think FAR does this for a purpose of preventing 'artist promoted feature works panel' to be monopolized by a single artist. it does not look good that all 10panels are filled with single (rich) artist. But we are allowed to post one artwork everyday, so the restriction does not serve the purpose fully. Yasue
This is a terrific painting capturing the age and character of the old pot. It has a story to tell! Very good painting techniques, composition, colour etc. Very well done and very worthwhile winner in the recent comp. CONGRATULATIONS!
as everything else you paint beautifully excecuted! and a thoughtful, very you background. As it is winter here in the north, I like the very northern variety which includes one lemon - I could add deep thoughts on that, but won't - even the wood is excellently portrayed.
Thank you. Yes, I try to bring in as many as color possible. This is one of my old style paintings. I was using acrylic then, and acrylic is a excellent media for the details painting. After I switched to oil, I have hard time with doing the details works. Anyway, I try to move away from the details. I like to experiment more 'free' painting, like yours.
Thank your for viewing. Yasue.
It is very inspirational, and what it inspires in me is envy. The angel is a source of light that the dragon is drawn to. It sees the power there and knows it is subject to it. All the usual kudos to you, and I can only hope to accomplish something as fantastic as this without cheating.
If I had six stars to offer to all your work, I would award them. Your art is captivating and inspiring. I love your style, the colours you choose to use and the subject matter. This piece is no exception. Gorgeous.
The use of color and the floating figures of this composition remind me a lot of Marc Chagall whom I admire. The canvas of Taming Dragons is beaming with activities and details; from the resettling of angel with a dragon, to changing modulations of planes of color, to fluttering flight of butterflies. Color composition is mystic and dream like beautiful. I like very much the flow and the vibrant gold color of angel's hair in the center of the composition. The center bright light background is like an exclamatory contrast mark to the upper body of the angel and the head of the dragon. Very lovely digital painting. I love it.
Thank you for the encouraging review. I am a painter and I detoured to digital art for a couple of years, and this work were from that era. I really enjoyed digital artwork, which enabled me concentrating composition and overall balance (as you have touched in your review). I just had no time to keep on doing both painting and digital work due to time constraint (I hold business day job), so I have to choose one for now, and it is painting. I hope I can go back to it one day (when I retired may be). Marc Chagall is actually one of my favorite artists, and it is (kind of) strange to hear his name here. We may be have similar wave length. Thank you again and take care for now. We may be talking from time to time. Yasue.
Beautiful art
like the idea of taming dragons
lovely colors
like the composition and the many details, the smooth parts and the texturized part
good focus on where the golden haired girl holds the dragon
Thank you so much! I am very sorry for a (huge) delay reply. I have been away for a while. I am Japanese and I am grown up with MANGA, so this painting may have same content. I used to do many fantasy like paintings. I donā??t do so much any more. I should do again soon. I will check your artwork soon. Hope talking with you soon. Yasue.
