This is very beautiful landscape painting.I liked the composition very much.This has got beautiful transperency which mostly water colour paintings have.Liked very much how you have created the reflection.That looks awsome.The variation in green makes this art work most attractive and eye catchy.Dont mind but I feel like It should have preserved well with warnishing so that doesnt lose colour,and its such a beautiful painting you cant afford getting spoiled.This is a very creative work and I liked viewing it.Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much for your nice review. Yes, it does need varnishing but had to leave it for 6 months before can do that.

I find trees difficult to do - you don't! I really enjoy landscape scenes when they are done well and the reflections on the Stour are skilfully done. It has real appeal this one - I like it lots

You must live in a really nice place! That is the empression this picture gives off. Your very good at blending the colours together. I love the way you shaded the sky, it gives you a nice feeling inside. I also like the different shades of green.

Salutations, nice landscape, and composition. The colors are nice but they lack depth and vibrance, also it seems to much of the canvas is peeking through and that is a major detractor to the painting and the ability to appreciate the layout and various elements of the composition. Nice start but I think it needs more work, add more paint give it depth and make sure the canvas does not show through.

This is a wonderful landscape painting Suzanne. Set in what appears to be a very tranquil setting. I like your use of soft, gentle colours, I have noticed this in your other works of seascapes. I really like the reflections in the river in this one. Lovely work. K.

May I rent one of your rooms Suzanne. What a beautiful place to live and you've rendered the beauty enticingly. Excellent use of delicate washes. The sky and reflections reflect (lol) superior technique. But then, you English, have always been known for wonderful pastoral watercolors.
