First rate use of a pencil. The floor on which your subject lies supine and relaxed is wonderfully textured. Your subject's eyes instantly communicate contemplation and wonder. Accomplishes what great art must do - make the viewer work.First-Rate!

When I first looked at this, I thought it was a photograph! It was that perfect. There are no words to describe the talent you have displayed here. I feel that she has died...is this what you had in mind? Your talent and inspiration is deeper than most people could understand or appreciate.

Oh, Stoneman, you hit the nail on the head. I was going to call this picture death, but I didn't think that it would be appreciated much. You have stumbled upon a truth that indicates to me that your art is a matter that brings forth the very depths of your soul. As art should definately do. Thank you for your wonderful insights, and for taking the time really analyse my work,

    Dear Angeleyes,
Your name really indicates you insight into the spiritual, and soulful. My work is done with the desire to bring forth the very deepest part of my soul. If I have accomplished that, than I am a happy artist. Thank you for your very kind review.

Excellent piece of work. The detail you put in a piece is always mind blowing. Her facial features are excellent and express to me a wanting, unfilled, desire. The headband has such intricate detail surrounding the top of her head while her hair lays to one side. The dress has just enough shadowing to visualize its appearance. The shadowing of both hands is great. The wood grain on the boards is also done with great detail. Wonderful job. Thanks for sharing your work.

You are truly gifted by God to create such beautiful art. This is so good a pencil drawing, it looks like a photograph. She is really beautiful and I can see the emotion on her face and in her eyes. Wanting and needing that special someone to love her. Your details, shadow and shading are well done here. This has great visual impact. You deserve a sixth star for your very artistic work!! Dear Eleanor,
Thank you so very much for the six star rating which you have given me. Your critique of my work is humbling, and inspiring. I so truly enjoy drawing. The greater the contrast between light and dark, the better I like it. Shadowing is so important. Passion is important. Artists are alway so passionate, or they wouldn't be artists, don't you agree? God bless you,

Yes, I am an artist too as well as a photographer. Passion is what keeps us
involved in creating wonderful images that come from within ourselves.
Keep up the good work. You are doing just fine.
    Sincerely, Eleanor

It almost seems as if she is waiting for her lover to lay down beside her and take her. She wants him, but is a little unsure. Beautiful work with this.
One of the nicest pieces I have reviewed in a while.

    Dearest Dianna,
Thank you for your wonderful review. Actually, I believe, this is me at 15, burried deep within my soul. For I have loved this way, with total abandonment, in the innocense of youth. Not knowing the end, and the hurt and grief that kind of love leads to. Thank you for your fantastic review.

This is serene and beautiful. Love your technique and attention to detail. The hue of her dress could be a little more defined to defrentiate between the natural tone of her skin. I love the wanting look in her eyes.

This is amazing..the detail is just incredible. I love that she looks very beautiful and romantically posed. But the contrast against the wood floor, changes everything. I am in awe of the detail you have captured. Wonderful!!

Very nice drawing, shows you have great command of the media. Like the tonal quality of the work. Great expression in the eyes, a far away look of someone day dreaming. Very nicely done drawing.

Fantastic artwork! The shading and detail in this piece are perfect. The subject appears to be in a daydream about someone,or something, possibly missing someone, what ever it is ,it was really good, you portrayed this very well in your artwork. The piece also portrays the subject laying right down where she was at,pretty powerful stuff. Well done! ARTIST56

    My Fellow Artist,
Don't we all strive for the passionate Drama in the realm of art. We can dig deep within ourselves and put it on canvas, and share it with the entire universe. What a gift from our creator. Actually, that is exactly what He does. Thank you so much.
