This is an amazing piece of art and definitely belongs in a book or I think it could be a cover piece. The silhouette is especially neat and the color chosen were a winner for me.

I am speechless when it comes to
this piece of art. I can't even fathem
the words to describe it. One hell of
a job for sure. The color contrast is
perfect. If I could give this a 10 it would
be yours.

Check your artist note for corrections.
Thank you for sharing.

Congrats on a job well done.

Strikingly unusual!
Gives the feeling of an underground cave.
I have fallen in love with the deep penetrating blues and the utter hopless black!
The spine is so chilling.
Gives one the creeps.
But, the blood looks contrived!
The book is so real!
marvellous!

Very nice use of the color blue :) and i loved how you added a small amount of red. Though, unless of course you were aiming for a rough look, more blending in the background would have made the viewers eyes adjust more smoothly to the main focus (the middle). But beautiful work!

An amazingly executed picture. Very chilling and very, very blue. I love the rich but cold color. A person would have to be insane not to allow this to illustrate a genre's section in their store...and because you are more than up to the task of creating unique artwork, you would be the first I would contact to create my promotional stuff. (Assuming I had my own store.)

This poor guy must be reading up on how to cure such a terrible disease. I like this, it is pretty decent, perhaps a little too dark though. But eeriness comes through here.

Liked how you portrayed it, though I didn't like the near complete darkness. Need some, yet don't overdo it. Liked the spinal collum, gave a nice start to a horror story. Keep iut up.

I like the hints of blood on his arm and side. I like the fact that you can see his spine and lower ribs. It was also a nice touch to add in the book. I really like this piece.

This was a great peice of work. I instantly got a picture in my mind what this could be about. Very unique. I do think that the jeans could have been a little more prominent to define the whole picture.

Very creative theme, Shaun. Just the thought that went into crafting this piece is impressive and riddled with depth. I like the effect of the blue and white touches to define the lines of your subject in the eternal blackness of the page. The affect of reading the horror unfolding from that book eating away at the subject's insides is great, your detail adding just the right touches. Great contribution.
