Very nice. It is hard to get a sense of DOF in this photo though. The bright blue is a great contrast to the white snow on the trees. Nicely done.

Yea, I was gonna go out yesterday AM and take from the property across the way to capture a good DOF of a similar shot but was 9 below zero and had been snow throwing the drive to get hubby out and just decided I didn't want to go back out! However, no doubt, will snow again soon!

Thank you very much Mile! Yep, was gonna give it up for a while, but hubby encouraged me to stay with it. Very cold, 9 below, I just put on my feather stuffed gear and git out there and move the snow so hubby can escape for work, then took a few pics.

The initial impact is three stars pretty general no real subject, the creativity presentation is three stars, color harmony is three stars looks b/w but I think you used colored film, the center of interrest is three stars threr is no center of interrest, tech. excellent is three stars you cropped the piece good , Technique is three stars, story telling ability is 3 stars and the lighting is 5 stars I think the lighting is perfect.

Ahh! I love the snow, although we hardly get a taste of it here in TX. And the crystal clear blue sky(too many of those here- for a cloud lover like me, lol) make for a very nice capture. Great work Lowrider, orion008.

Wow, some of the snow seems so bright you could amost go snowblind looking at it! Beautiful capture of nature's colors. There is a little too much contrast for me, and some of the clumps on the trees look a little overexposed, but it may just be the upload. Nice shot!
