This is sweet! The theme of peace on this
quaint, little island shadows, and all. I feel
the tranquility from this piece, which is
a delight in itself! Gotta love the coconuts!

I love this picture - the colors are wonderfully strong, the shadowing is brilliant and the theme very appealing. Very nice work.

Thank you very much. I do think the shadows make the picture, somehow.

I'm not sure what you mean by how it was done, I use a pretty simple drawing program which I have used for 3+ years, I draw all the shapes with my mouse, manipulate, color, then add effects to give them dimension and detail. Did I answer your question? If not, please let me know.

This is nice. It does look like somewhere i would like to be also. I do like that the shadows of the birds and the trees are there. That makes it look less cartoonish and more artistic.

Thank you. Most of my work looks cartoonish to me, but it definitely has a certain style which stays consistent, whether I use my PC or a sketchbook or paints. I think it must betray the fantasy theme which resides in my head! :0) I do think the shadows make the picture, though.
