I think this is lovely. I love the pattern of lattice work in the background and the daylilies are delighful against the dark green. Peg

I love it. The flowers make me feel good inside. The bold bright ornge is not so bright that it hurts to look at but is not to dull and muddied. I am more attracted to the background tho. Many people paint flowers with a plain background if there is any. The flowers look fresh and untouched in a garden.

From what I can see this is a very nice paintingwith lovely brush strokes and a nice orange/green contrast. It is however let down by a poor quality photograph - maybe 5 stars if I could see it better.

the Photo does let down all my work. I fully acknowledge that and I am 'trying" to get a better camera to do this with and better photo editing program. Thank you for the review.

Very nice colors. I wish you would let us know a little about the painting. Flowers are a popular subject, but in my view not easy to paint. A little more detail and working to show depth in the flowers is needed.

Finally a picture of a flower I can look at for more than 5 minutes without feeling like I've seen it a thousand times before. And the fact that you put out the hard work in painting it just makes me so happy inside. Great choice of colors, lovely brushwork, thankyou so much.

I like this work... Though I find the shading to be a little too divided from the highlights... Blending them a little more consistantly would make this a five star work. Thanks for sharing! :)

I do believe if this pictures was bigger the detailing work would really stand out on this one. I love the soft orange pastel colors of the flowers and the background was done well to set off the flowers nicely.

I cant see it simple to give you a better rating can you redo the upload... lessen the jpg output to 70 seems to work for me. From what I can tell from this image.... and only out of respect to help you grow your talent.... you need to add more shadows and lighting to give your flowers more depth... since you painting tradtional realism. I know this is not easily done with chalk work so I will give this at least 4 stars. Thanks for sharing.

Nice work. I wish the picture you took of it was a little bigger. It's really a shame that this photo does little for the work because it's too small and you can't see any details.
