This is a very pretty piece. You can see the detail in the pedals. That is very good. Plus you can still make out that there's some type of fencing in the background. Overall, very good.

From what I can see, this painting is only adequate.
The daylily towards the front right is really good.
Try more daylilies like that one. The others are
really lackluster but I'm used to seeing art from
internationally known artists upclose and personal
(i.e. Stephen Quiller, Skip Lawrence, Paul Jackson). Good
start - keep working.

Like the flowers the way they move , I also like the colours, its such a shame the picture has not come out bigger so we can see more, I work with pastels as well and I love them especially the schmincke and senellier. The colours are so strong and bright.

I like your choice of colors...the light background fencing has enhanced the flowers. Tiger lilies, aren't they? Your use of chalk pastel to create the lilies is beautifully done.

Very nice flowing petals you bring to light with your chalk pastels. I like the texture and detailing created with light and dark colors of contrast. The lattice work in the backdrop with the soft hues of green really draw out the beauty in the flowers arranged in the forefront. This is balanced quite nicely.
