I'm not a professional photographer but just wanted to say that at first glance, I loved this picture. It makes me want to jump into the picture.

I truly enjoy all the works by this photographer. This piece really shouts out at me personally. Perhaps it's the red barn that seems to fireup the whole photograph. I love the subtle hillside and the craggy rocks. If I would have any suggestion for this photo it would be a possible cropping of the foreground. I think a shorter foreground would really add to the overall size of the barn in conjunction with the background and with the adjoining buildings. It's massiveness would become even more interesting. Great work by a great photographer. Congratulations.

Nice shot of a farmhouse, in the mountains. It reminds me so much of new mexico. Where did you get the shot? I bet the air is really clean.

Thank you so much DD!! Took this photo in Palmer Lake, Colorado, the next town south of where I live, and yes, the air is very clean, I really love the overall climate here!!

nice story, but the photo is a litlle "flat" due to midday lighting - could have been much more dramatic if the photo were taken early in the morning (dramatic shade, maybe fog) or at sunset. :)

You have the ability to capture so much in your photography. All aspects of this photograph reach perfection, and a strong sense that its been executed without loads of planning and discarded copies, its all so natural to you!
I wondered at your heritage after remarks you made previously, and it all becomes very clear to me now that you probably get your wonderful eye for the natural world from your grandfather. Fantastic and inspirational!

Wow! Just a beautiful shot of a beautiful place! I love old, red barns! There's just something about them that makes me think of my childhoo, and I didn't even grow up on a farm. I really like the rising hills in the background; just looks so cool. :)
