What a beautiful portrait of the small child. He looks so sweet and loving. You can see the tenderness in his eyes and his need for love. Good focus and lighting is great. Background color makes him really stand out. Powerful image. Well done. Enjoyed viewing.

What a beautiful portrait. Such a pure little face. That he is looking off in another direction somewhat wistfully adds so much to the interest. The soft background adds focus to that precious face. Your framing is also very good.

What a lovely portrait. This little boy is a dolly, but he looks so sad. I like the way you have softened everythin around and just left his beautiful face in full focus. Nice light and beautiful words.

Thank you so much for your graceful review.
I see this look to often in the small Maya communities. The kids seam to serious and mature for their age. It must be the hard life they are born into. This little boy was also frightened by all the unknown things going on around him.

Pure sould, cleo

Absolute perfection.

And to think he is only 11 months old. He looks like the has the wisom of the ages in his compassionate face and eyes.

One of your most remarkable portraits.

Thank you. Yes this expression in his face was hat cut my heart. You see that often in these small Maya communities. Many of the kids seam very mature for their age. I think it is the hard life were they are born into. But if they smile at you it is as if the sun emerged after weeks of rain.
I think the boy was also a little scared of all the unknown things going on around him.

One of the most heart-warming and poetic faces I've ever seen on a child. And your lighting and capturing of the moment was inspired.

This is a great portrait shot and the sort you would expect to see hanging in the families front room! The focus is clear and crisp and the blurring at the edges softens the picture. Great pose and expression.

Wonderful photo, you did a great job capturing this boy's expression. He actually looks so sad, hope that it was only a moment. Details and colors are beautiful and blurring background is great here, nothing distracts the view over this lovely face. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful work on the background not only in terms of effect but also in termsofcolor. The whole presentation presents as pleasing to the eye with a strong focus on your subject. Detail is great as is your handling of the light. I enjoyed:)

the facial focus is fantastic. you're just right keeping the colours as they are you would loose too much of its magic if it were black and white.
excellent

No matter where, the look of a child is precious and this one has one that makes you want to give her a big hug. Amazing how babies and children can give you 60 different looks in 60 seconds. Great lighting and composition.

This is a lovely photo of the gorgeous little boy. I like the blurring of the background which really focuses attention on the baby. I like the angle you used to take this with the light falling on just one side of him. You've captured a great expression on his face and your notes were very interesting to read. Very nice composition.
