I like this, but it makes me feel like I am missing something to the right or left for some reason. The color and lighting and focus are perfect, and I like the angle. Nicely done.

Burr winter has settled in for a long nap. Wonderful view to have everyday. The overall piece is just beautiful. From the blue sky down to the white snow attempting to cover every color of life below. Great capture on this piece.

Ah! I like it with the rest of the trees in the background. The clear blue sky, and seeing more of the photo without having a shadow is beautiful. I like the zoomed-out shot better. Very nice!

I like this one even better, how I can see more depth to it...I like the blue of the sky against the green and white on the trees, very nice job. The clarity is great, as well as the depth of field and the colors...just one gripe, I wish this photo was larger, so that I could see it closer. great work.

Thank you very much Christina!!! I will work on making photos larger, is hard with snow to get a good quality pic if it is much larger, but will certainly work on that for ya!!

Dazzlin is right! this is gorgeous! I like how the fence is going diagonally across the picture plane. The long blue shadows mimic that line as they fall across the glistening snow. One cannot fault such a beautiful scene. Kudos!

As I sit here recovering from brushing off all the new freaking snow from my truck and having to travel in the white stuff, I keep saying just why the hell don't I live on a tropical island. And then I sit at my PC here at FAR and BBBBAAAAMMMM there it is, The wonderful beauty that this type of climate can bring to us. Thank you for reminding me and now if you'll excuse me I must go get a cup of hot cocoa at just look out my back window and take a deep breath and breath in all that cool crisp air. Oh by the way great photo, it should be bigger and it belongs on a wall some where.

Thank you for your wonderful review Sass!! Notice this was taken before I cleaned the driveway and I was kind of feeling like you---not wanting to get going on cleaning it up!!! Is a pain, but oh so beautiful! Of course, the 4 feet we got last year didn't make me smile much!!!!!

The fenceline is not straight, but it works, because you have good lines holding the balance of the shot, the trees, and the skyline. The fence works because it starts from the corner, and pulls the eye into the shot. You have the one tree on the left pretty much on a third, and, while it isn't quite a third at the top, there is just enough sky to balance it, but not too much, to pull attention away. The exposure looks like it was very good. The snow is exposed well, it is white (very important). Also, there is good contrast in the shot, the trees have good detail, without being under or over exposed. Very nice job!
