Good morning LowRider, I wanted to review this the other day when you posted it, but I did not have time. This is wonderful, the contrasts of the deep red against the charcoal background is first rate.

Hey LR does your comment mean that this is your caboose...NO PUN intended! What an interesting personality you are. The fact that we don't see them much anymore and you've got a live one...you should be bonus points. I think that it's an okay photo, the back ground looks more adventuresome.

Think I like the close up study better, but, this is done very well too! Deb, I've been trying some new stuff in reguard to up loading. I do all my PS photo finishing and resizing before I sharpen and it seems to give me sharper samples...........just my $0.02 Happy New Year!!

Thank you Rah!! I certainly want all your .02's you have to throw my way! I was just beginning to do that with old scanner, got photo scanner, makes a world of differents with LCD monitor, now I just resize with PS --that is it. Before my pics would scan as if faded and I would have to 'jack' with them in PS to get the scan to look more like the original pic, this scanner is wonderful, it is Epson Perfection 4180 PHOTO, will even scan negatives, amazingly better than previous scanner--thank you again Rah!!

Back from holidays. Hope yours went well. I would have like to have seen the caboose in it's original state. Would have made for a much stronger composition. Still a nice clear shot.

I like this more than the other. You see more of this. There are some evident harsh shadows in this. Still not enough to detract my review of it. Really nice red color here.

Interesting shot with good composition. I like the placement of your subject within the frame. The light was a bit harsh as the shadows are to deep and the focus comes off a little soft.

What a striking photo!!!! Love the contracts of colour. I certainly have to become bolder with my photography. An inspiration that is certainly going to keep my love of photography going.

Don't you just hate that, you have a great idea for a superb image, than some bonehead has to ruin it with a couple of gallons of paint. This is framed very well, love seeing just the train. Very sharp and vivid, but it loses that a little as you look down towards the bottom of the shot, maybe it is the red, it has a little harsh light to it, over all composition is wonderful. And by the way did you meets any old hobos on that bike of yours?
