Did you use yourself as a base model for this work? I love the expressiveness in her eyes, very adorable I must say. Ive never seen anything like this, but it feels very familiar or comfortable. The toning is exquisite, with subtle shades seeming to create depth and curves just in the right places. even the shadow on the paper beneath her hand, so subtle and appealing. To me, she does not appear to be distressed because of the predicament of the situation at hand, but rather concerned for he soldier. I can see how he would fall in love with her so easily. Very well done, radiating with emotion.

Great thought behind the work. I enjoyed immensely the story in your notes. Definitely helped to understand what you were going for in the picture. Beautiful love story. The work is nice, a little more work on the proportion of the bodies will help, your faces are very good. The sharpness of the man's uniform could be a little more subtle to give it more appeal. Keep going at it. And sounds like you are living a very interesting life! I commend you for your sense of adventure! Would love to get to be in the place you are! Keep sharing, I look forward to it!
