This is a nice painting.Seeing this I am jst thinking,you could have participated in my pets art contest.There were many entries for pets photography contest but I did not see more entries for art.I am not sure about the last date,but if you wish you may check.

This is a lovely painting Suzanne, I like the soft use of colors on background and the way you have painted this fox, very well detailed and neatly done, i can see some rays as well on background. Pleasure viewing it.

Interesting portrayal. However I feel you need to study fox conformation a little better as the pose and proportions are not quite right. Also if you used more shading, it would give the picture greater depth. Otherwise a nice attempt and I like the backgound colours.
