    thank you!

This is drawing?
For drawing it seems to be a bit over done.
Another question: could you express the same idea without bringing religion into your work?

Cheers.

I never thought i would have heard that about a drawing . why do you think it is overdone?I could not seeing as how witches and such were religions.and they were innocent people destroyed by another religion .hence the cross. i hope this helps you see it from my point of view. thank you for your comments-mike

It is a great drawing. Did you do it with charcoal or pencil. The way your shadows were done give it more realism. Very detailed and the dimensional effects are also very creative. For example the back ground and the front leaves are just perfect.

This is absolutely amazing the detail that has went into this is superb. I am so impressed with the layout of the drawing and the ocntrasts in the drawing as most of this nature are quite dark but yours is nice and bright yet still eerie. Everything from the sky to the ground is perfect. :)

As i was doing this piece i thought it was getting to dark. so started to work more on making the darks darker and the lights lighter. thank you very much for the comment .

The cross is fine. I would have twisted it like the tower to emphasize the wonkieness of the scene. But since I'n not the artist I didn't and you did a very good job

Overall, I think you have a very nicely done drawing here. I don't know what medium you used, but at a guess, pencil and paper. The cross doesn't bother me, adds to that occult/surreal feeling. I like how you have twisted the tower, plus all the detail that you put into this piece is very intriguing. Nice job.

this is very, very nice. The sky seems to have a fog rolling in, and the cross seems to have a nice effect of portaying a story to the picture. The only thing I wonder about is the light source from the shadows cast of the brances on the tower. It is overall a wonderful work of art. :)

Roland Childe to the Dark Tower, go. Very impressive "twist" to this traditional castle in keeping with the Deutche architecture of the day. I spent several years in and around Baden Baden myself during the late eighties and early nineties. When the wall was gone, so was my required presence. :)
Great work!

Good work there, the detailing in the bricks is wonderful. Your shading is great. The cross isn't so much the problem it's the type of cross you chose and the way you added light around it instead of making it dark to match the witch theme. Keep working at it though you show much talent.
