What an interesting and dramatic effect. Looks great as a black and white, was the original in colour? Very original and intriguing work.

Thankyou, the original was in colour, but manipulated and light added in Photshop. Comments added here have been really helpful.

A littlse interesting. but not enough to really look long at the picture. The bright light is more distracting than engaging. I look forward to seeing more.

This photo gets totally lost in the light. There is very little value and hue in that black and white. The coposition is very static. This a pic that I would just pas over if I saw it.

The glare of the flash ruins this otherwise delightful shot. The expression is good, his eyes even show expression. May make a great model.

Hi, thanks for your comments. The light wasnt actually the flash, it was added in in Photoshop afterwards. It was supposed to look like it was coming out the penlid in his mouth. It doesnt seem to have worked too well though.

The composition is well done, except the light, I think it is just a tad bit to bright, taking away from the photo rather then enhancing it. I love black and white, good subject.
