lol ya lil shxt, sure wished you had decided on a close-up on you self-portrait. hehehe this is a cool tree and the shape is unique, would like to have see it more as center of focus close enough to see the bark, but far awy evough to see the whole tree, is it possible Lowrider? Even if the back ground blurrs out, I think it would look good.

Initial impression is of composition with the tree caught with top over the horizon. The tree does look like it has character and has weathered the test of time in a tough climate and survived beautifully. Looks just fine perfectly centered in the frame. Looking like cattails down low, dunno, and that was a pleasant surprize.

this is different from your usual. A great picture. I love the tree. The colours are wonderful and the focus is excellent. The detail and composition are brilliant.

Debbie, I like the focus and clarity of this scene...yes, I see the resemblance to you :) Standing tall against all elements of life...reaching out and enriching the earth.

I'm not sure if the blue sky highlights the barrenness of the picture or takes some of the starkness away. I hope this is not how you see yourself. The tree is an interesting subject for a picture.

what incredible looking tree. it's verypowerful! monochromatic tree and the colourful (golden and blue) background is a great contrast. Although that piece of woodden support behind the tree is bothering me. was this place there to support the tree or it's not even touching it.

Thank you art!! Not touching it. Just a tree 'out there' following nature's course--

I like the contrast of the branches to the blue sky and the surrounding backround! The tree is abstract that it plays well throught the rest of the picture. I just wish the lens pickup just a little detail of the bark on the trees-not so much black on the tree. Nicely Done!!!
