This is beautiful the way you have put everything in it. I like the transparency to the glasses and the way they seem to shine. The detail, depth and coloring are excellent. A very creative and unique work of art. Good luck in the contest.

I'd rather see as wiser as another year goes by. LOL! The amount of details and light is perfect. Interesting choices of props and composition. It does make me feel ready to party and celebrate a New Year. Thanks for sharing once again. Alex

High initial impact here caught my eye right away with the nice streamers and shimmers of light. The title begs the question: 'but, am I another year wiser? - well, maybe ... lol. Like the cherry trio accenting the left front, . but might like some color contrast somewhere mid-composition.

We had a nice quiet New Year's Eve at home, so I had my own little celebration just painting this...lol. Thank you, Papasteve!!

This is beautiful and full of cheer! What first caught my eye is the "glass effect" the streamers have. I like that. I like the bright mix of colors in the picture. The colors remind me of the color "Champagne" LOL. Great detail on this festive card, and good contest entry!

Deeper in Debt. Never mind the governments are talking about printing some more money so the party can rage on. It will have to stop somewhere.Cheers! Jenny

Thank you, Ostrich!! I'm with you on that. I don't think printing more money is going to help much. Obama has definitely got his work cut out for him.
