I thinkt his is one of my favorite shots on here. What beautiful effects of light, sepia hues and movement to stir the thoughts when reflecting on this piece. Such striking symbolic themes you've stumbled upon with this cross placed within these dunes. You have quite an eye for artistic appeal determined behind the lense. I like that the cross is not centered, the texture and movement of those clouds....the hint of light, midstream amidst the sky and earth. Very dramatic post.

Nicely framed, focused, and composed. I don't know that I like the golds and reds in this image as much as I did one of your other pieces, it almost actually gives it somewhat of an "evil" feeling - maybe I've been watching too many horror movies, but I'm looking at this and half expecting a hand to reach up out of the ground. :) Gives me the willies. Nicely done.

I love this picture. I love the coloring, the lighting, the subject, I love everything about this picture, I love how the blades of grass seem to little crosses themselves. You've captured something very wonderful, job well done!

when I saw the thumbnail i thought of King Arthur and Excalibur. I like the deep sepia tones - they add to the starkness of the piece, but I think that maybe a little less dark and more contrast would give it that extra oomph. Great though

I like the picture very much. I don't know why but it has an Indian feeling to it. It seems taken out from the dusty Wild West. Like the tomb of a pioneer. The trees behind break somehow the mood of isolation.

Beautiful picture, did you use a polarized lense or was that adjusted in PS? What I noticed was the blades on the weeds/grass of the dune are also in cross formation. Kind of like a visual echo. Very nice!
