You find the most amazing subjects. Yiu should do more of Willy.This is a great black and white phot. The detail and focus are amazing.So much character in his face. You tell Willy he has another fan!

This is a good shot Low, the composition is good. I do think a little boost in contrast and brightness would make this even better. Nice job!!!

I like photos like this. Did you intend for this to have a lot of midtone and no highlights? It does look quite flat tonally - but I'm sure you know what you are doing and that it was fully intended.
Great details and expression in the face and your notes describe quite a character!

Thank you John!! I would have liked to have had some highlights but everything I tried washed away facial character or overexposed the beard, even with the slightest adjustment. Never realized how difficult turning color film into black and white image could be!

I like the black and white better only as a photograph as I still see the "character" in both versions. The black and white Just Works so well. Contrasted well and minimizes strong light imo. What a character!! Perfect.

I do like the black and white image, it is also a great image.. but I must say that I liked the color version better... seems to me like he looses some of his character in black and white, just my opinion though still a great shot and wonderful story!

Thank you so much amp!! Willy is doing great, I take him cans for his granddaughter's college fund (he cashes them in) and help him crush them, he is quite the character with a great sense of humor, I really enjoy his company!

I liked him in colour. I liked him in Gajnath's painting. And I still like him in black and white! It changes him a little -- but not so much as his character is really different. Marvy job, Myrt!
