This is an incredible portrait. I'm going to have to hunt down the color version, meself being the FanArt Newbie that I am! It must be quite the privilege to endear oneself to someone with such a colorful history! I'll bet he tells some great stories! Very, very nice work.

I find this photo inspiring. Your ability to capture the spirit and colorful soul of this man makes me want to pick my camera back up and do it again. A person could fall in the kind of love you did, with Willy, by simply looking at this picture...I did. It's perfect, it touches me the way a photograph should.
Thanks so much for sharing your art, I've looked at your portfolio and found it all very worthy of the applause it's received...and then some.

Ah LowRider I am a painter and I really admire your photography, what a beaurtiful man, and such character. I too love people who are real. He wears his past on his face. His hands are very expressive too. Thank you for sharing this with us, and I hope to write a story about Willy.
There was nothing I did not like about this photograph. I am intrigued by it and the fact that LowRider searched for him. She saw something in him, that most others would bypass. I loved that she gave him a framed picture of it too, that is such a gift. I love people that have lived life, and especially people who appreciate the beauty in ones that are not what many consider picture perfect. Sincerely Shana Dines

This capture truly is a treasure. You have done a great job of blending a visual with a story. When I look at him I can easily see the "amazing character" you saw, when you looked through your lens. Wonderful job!
