The contrast and the amount of detail you captured here really set off the attitude and defined character of this man. You captured his personality very well in this image. Incredible story. Great photojournalistic feel and appeal to this.
black and white was definately the way to go.
You have a real nack for telling the story and i look for ward to seeing more shots of him or other street phtoography.congratulations on a great conversation piece.

Wonderful picture Sounds like he may have had a rough life,but you couldn't tell that in this photo.I think you caught alot of character in this picture.I like the expression you caught on him,even if his eyes are not open all the way.The lighting is great and it is a very interesting sstory to go with it.It seems to me that you put alot of effort into taking this man's picture and it paid off.

This is just amazing all the emotion that is packed into one simple portrait. The color and detail is fantastic and I think the cropping was just enough. You really give character to your subject.

This is character photography at its best, I find Willy's profile very intriguing and full of history, you know he has some tales to tell! the framing and clarity is excellent, and admitadely i sometimes think b&w can give that little extra in portrait. exceptional!
