Very nice composition, having the subject to one side of the image. It would have been nice to have cropped a little off the head to balance with the lower half of the body, I think that would have brought your subject matter forward slightly. However you have caught her expression of dignity mixed with sadness perfectly, this is not an apologetic image rather one of strength I feel.
